![]() I know the questions are specific to the RedSea but any insight/experience that could point me in the right direction is welcomed. I have looked through the RedSea FAQs with no luck which may be due to the pump being so new. I've been trying to play with the intensity within a few percentages along with the high precision valve to see if there is a special combination but have yet to find it. Is there a recommended intensity setting that the DC 9000 pump should be at for a Reefer 750? Or maybe a formula I could use to figure it out? I currently have it set at 29%. Could it be possible the pump output isn't as stable as it should be? Once I think I have it correct the water level doesn't change for an hour or more and then all of a sudden it drops way too low or raises too high and goes down the emergency overflow pipe.Ĭurious as to what I need to do to get this perfect. Sometimes it moves a little, other times not at all so I adjust. I wait 15+ minutes in between adjustments, longer than what Red Sea recommends. I barely adjust the high precision valve on the down flow pipe and the water level changes dramatically. ![]() ![]() I am having extreme difficulty getting the water level in the overflow box to stay at a consistent height as recommended by RedSea, 1 cm below the emergency overflow pipe. Currently I am using a ReefRun 9000 as the return pump and have a ReefMat 1200 in the sump.
